Hello from California!

After an incredible stretch in Arizona, we've officially crossed into the Golden State, setting up for the week in Palm Springs/Palm Desert. This new chapter is already shaping up to be a game-changer, with a packed schedule of networking, BNI meetings, and fresh opportunities to connect with dynamic business leaders.

We're kicking off Tuesday with our first BNI meeting in the area, eager to meet like-minded professionals who are as driven and ambitious as we are. The Palm Desert business community is thriving, and we're excited to see how MunnyMan Communications can integrate within this network. Our goal? Weekend Reset: Lakeside at Lake Cahuilla

Before diving into a full-throttle workweek, we took a much-needed reset at Lake Cahuilla. After weeks in the desert, being near the water was exactly what this little family needed. The shift in scenery was refreshing—wide open skies, peaceful waters, and a slow, grounding energy that allowed us to recharge before the busy days ahead.

The cats, Ophelia and Boomer, took full advantage of the sun-soaked back “porch”, watching the birds and stretching out in the warmth. While there's no swimming allowed at Lake Cahuilla (to preserve the water quality), Kona made the most of it with long runs along the trails. Meanwhile, Nic and I took time to strategize, plan for the week ahead, and simply enjoy the moment. Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to pause, breathe, and appreciate where you are.
