Bus life update!
We have been busy remodeling the bus as we gear up to head south for the winter. We didn't like how cramped the hall way was and we had little room to host when we had guests. But Nic relocated the Closet, to the front of the bus adjacent to the bathroom, and together we transformed the area that was once our closet and narrow hallway into an open concept dinning area!
Nic added a slim upper storage shelf and Mike Shelton of Lower Peninsula remodeling brought us a beautiful Butcher Block dinning room table! We engineered the table so it is in fact detachable and the dinning area can convert into a guest bed!
I also got to get crafty upholstering bench cushions with canvas material provided by Tammy Shelton of Lower Peninsula Services! There was a learning curve but Nic said "This makes it way more comfortable than ever!"
We are so grateful for the support and opportunity to bring about these changes to our home on wheels, and can't wait to share our travels with you when we hit the road again next month!
