Two Years, Countless Miles, Infinite Lessons

The Journey That Shaped Us, and the Clients Who Keep Us Moving

A Chapter Closes: Farewell to Bus Life

After two unforgettable years, we’ve closed the door—literally—on one of the biggest chapters of our lives. Our home on wheels, an old E450 airport shuttle we converted with our own hands (and a fair amount of blood, sweat, tears, and coffee), has officially completed its journey with us.

That bus wasn’t just transportation—it was our launch pad, our safe haven, and our classroom on wheels. From coast to coast, up mountains and across deserts, through small-town main streets and bustling cities, it carried us not just to places, but into moments we’ll never forget. We explored the east coast, much of the south, the heart of the Midwest, and nearly all of the west coast. It fueled our business, expanded our network, and gave us the kind of stories you can’t buy—only live.

Most importantly, it gave us the space to grow—individually, as life partners, and as business partners.

Lessons from the Road

Two years of living small taught us big truths. A few of our favorites:

 YOU write your own script.

Overcoming fear is a natural way to grow.

Home will always be home.

A lot of it is just showing up.

Always ask the locals for advice.

Pack it in, pack it out—leave no trace.

Leave it better than you found it.

How you do anything is how you do everything.

You can handle every situation.

Life is what you make it.

You can do hard things.

Feel it all, then keep moving.

Ask questions, never stop learning, try new things.

There’s power in word of mouth.

“No” now doesn’t mean “No” forever.

Stay consistent. Keep your word.

Smile at police officers.

Always answer the door with kindness & curiosity.

Community matters.

Velcro is far more important than you think.

Every mile, every roadside repair, every view from the driver’s seat brought us closer to these lessons—and we’ll carry them into everything we do moving forward.

Business Update: Power of Referrals in Action

We’ve been busy settling into a new routine off the bus—and business is thriving. One story stands out as the perfect example of how consistency and connection pay off.

About six months ago, Nick connected with Stout Roofing in Mesa, Arizona. They loved the technology behind our Elite Cards but weren’t ready to commit at the time. Nick left them with a memorable impression, shared his contact info using our Keyword feature, and moved on—no pressure.

Fast forward to today: their team decided that getting Google reviews was now a top priority. They’d seen other businesses using our Review Placard Pros, remembered Nick, and typed in his keyword to pull up his contact instantly. A quick text later, we had a meeting booked.

The result? We set up their entire location with six Review Placard Pros—tools designed to ensure that every Google review that gets published is a five-star review. That’s the beauty of staying top of mind, being easy to reach, and following up when the time is right.

Looking Forward

Closing the bus life chapter isn’t the end—it’s the start of a new era. We’re still fueled by the same adventurous spirit, the same commitment to innovation, and the same drive to help businesses grow through smart, personalized solutions. Whether we’re on the road or in one place, our mission remains unchanged: helping you connect better, faster, and more memorably with the people who matter most to your business.

Here’s to new chapters, powerful connections, and the lessons that keep us moving forward.
